phpMyAdmin problem: "Show 30 row(s) starting from record # 30"

This is the default that shows when you go to a table in phpMyAdmin. How can you make it stop asking you to start at a record other than 0?

    did you every figure this out? it is really bothering me. I tried putting the default value in config but it didn't work. please email me if you figure it out.
